Amsterdam
In November last year my best friend and I went to Amsterdam for a
little weekend away. It was both of our first times in Amsterdam and we had the
best time!
As usual, here are a few of my must-sees in Amsterdam.
After learning about Anne Frank’s story in high school,
there was no doubt that we would go on the tour of her house while in Amsterdam.
The tour was unsurprisingly emotional as we heard the plight of the Frank family
during the holocaust and seen first hand the living conditions they were
subjected to. I’m really happy we did this tour and would highly recommend it
to anyone thinking of booking a trip to Amsterdam.
I love to experience the clubs in different cities when I go
away with friends and Amsterdam didn’t disappoint. Although some clubs are 21
and over, there’s still places to experience the nightlife if you’re 18-20. One
thing I loved about the clubs was the lighting. I’m a firm believer that lighting
can make or break a club, and the lighting in these clubs
definitely enhanced the experience.

I really love city
breaks with my friends and plan to go on many more in the future. Amsterdam is somewhere
I think everyone should experience at least once so if you’re thinking about it
just do it!
